Ice-T Reunites Controversial Group Body Count

Rap Daily: Gangster rap pioneer and actor Ice-T is is getting ready for the launch of his new reality show.

He has also resurrecting a controversial band from his past, with the reunification of his metal band, Body Count.
Ice-T has confirmed that Body Count will reunite tonight  in Los Angeles, during an E3 party for Xbox 360's "Gears of War 3."

Ice, who is a voice case member in "Gears 3," also contributed a brand-new track to help promote the game for Xbox 360.

Body Count is a hard-core metal group formed by Ice-T in 1990.

The group was best known for their song "Cop Killer," which was supposed to be on their self-titled debut album in 1992.

Ice decided to drop the single from the album over the controversy and pressure from various groups that criticized the rapper's label at the time, Sire/Warner Brothers Records.

Even the President at the time, George H.W. Bush and VP Dan Quayle denounced Ice-T and "Cop Killer" track.

Ice, who ironically stars as Detective Odafin 'Fin' Tutuola on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," is also preparing to show his softer side in an upcoming reality show with his wife Coco titled "Ice Loves Coco."

The reality show debuts this Sunday while Ice-T and Body Count are scheduled to reunite and take the stage tonight at the Edison in Los Angeles.

Ice Loves Coco on channel E! is my favorite show. I really enjoy watching Ice and Coco. Since I subscribe to DISH Network I get to watch my shows even on-the-go. As a DISH employee I can tell you that if you switch to DISH you can get Blockbuster free for 3 months. Go to http://bit.ly/lsaBKv to see what I mean.
