Dmx Caught With Drugs In Prison

Rap Daily: Rapper DMX will remain locked up, after jail officials in Yuma State Prison found the rapper with drugs behind bars.

According to reports, DMX has been cited for drug possession, failing and refusing a drug test and smoking, all during his incarceration.

The rapper, who was supposed to be released from jail on Wednesday will be locked up for at least another week and possibly longer.

DMX, born Earl Simmons, was sentenced to a year in prison in December of 2010, for failing to report to his probation officer and refusing to undergo drug treatment.

The rapper has been arrested six times in Maricopa County, Arizona, alone and at least once every year, since 1999.

DMX To Be Released From Prison In July

The X Is Back on July 1st.

DMX is currently behind bars serving a year long sentence for violating the terms of his probation by using drugs. But the superstar rapper, born Earl Simmons, will be back on the streets by the end of the summer.

According to court records, dmX will be released from prison under supervised watch on July 1^st. His supervision will end on August 12^th, while his maximum end date in prison ends on August 25^th.

X headed back to prison on December 16^th after pleading guilty to violating his probation. At the time, the judge speculated that he had “an undiagnosed mental condition” and possibly suffered from bi-polar disorder. He was admitted to the Flamenco Mental Health Unit at the facility.

This marks DMX’s 13^th incarceration. He was arrested in Maricopa County, Arizona in November 2010 for violating probation stemming from an incident involving attempted aggravated assault by throwing a food tray at a jail guard, as well as theft by using a fake name to dodge a $7,500 hospital bill and  also for being in a stolen car

DMX SENTENCE TO 1 YEAR IN JAIL

Hip Hop Icon, rapper and actor DMX, born Earl Simmons, 39, has reportedly been sentenced to a one year jail sentence on Thursday after appearing before Arizona Judge Christine Mulleneaux on probation violation charges.
DMX who has had multiple run-ins and trouble with the law, was arrested back in November at his home and charged with violating probation due to failing drug tests.
DMX also reportedly failed to check in with his probation officer and refused to go thru court-appointed treatment and counseling.
Simmons appeared before the courts on yesterday and admitted to the judge his consumption of alcohol while tests showed DMX also had consumed cocaine and oxycontin.
The rapper’s probation, stemming from his prior 2009 conviction on charges of assault, identity theft, fraud, and other misdemeanor charges, was revoked and DMX has been sentenced to one year in jail.
