Eminem Explains Lady Gaga Diss

Rap Daily: Detroit rapper Eminem has broken his silence on a recent diss directed at Lady Gaga on the new song "A Kiss" from Bad Meets Evil's new EP, Hell: The Sequel.

The rapper send punch lines at Katy Perry and Lady Gaga on the track, delivering a line that humorously questions the pop star's sexual gender.

"Tell Lady Gaga she can quit her job at the post office/She still a 'Mail Lady' Wouldn't f*ck her with her d*ck you heard it the verdicts in" Em raps on the track.

Fuse TV's Allison Hagendorf landed an interview with Bad Meets Evil group member Eminem during the Bonnaroo Festival, where he explained his thought process behind the lines on "A Kiss."

"As an artist, you know she's undeniable. That was one of them things where, sometimes I get a joke in my head and I kinda want to share with the world," Eminem said. "It was just one of those things man, it's all in fun, it's Hip-Hop. But as far as an artist, she's dope. She's an incredible talent."

According to Em, the lines were all in fun and he meant no harm in delivering the clever pun.

Teacher Suspended For Showing Eminem Video To Class

Rap DailyA teacher in Westboro, Massachusetts has been suspended and police are investigating her, after she showed an Eminem video to a group of seventh graders.

The Boston Herald reports that the teacher, who has worked at Gibbons Middle School for 10 years, was suspended after showing Eminem videos during a media analysis section of the class.

Although the clips had no nudity, the videos that were shown were controversial enough to prompt one of the student's father to complain to police.

"This was during a media analysis section," Westboro School Superintendent Marianne O'Connor told the Boston Herald. "There were a couple of clips, movie clips, or video clips that may have been inappropriate. We're finding out now, that we have interviewed students, that it had no nudity."

The unnamed teacher has been suspended until police and the school administration complete their investigation.

Eminem's Southpaw Nearly Ready

Rap Daily:Earlier today, MTV News reported that rapper Eminem will make his long-awaited return to the silver screen in the lead role in the upcoming film Southpaw
The film, which has already been picked up by DreamWorks, will find the Detroit rapper portraying a welterweight boxer whose career is cut short by personal tragedy. Kurt Sutter, the film's screenwriter and creator of FX's popular drama "Sons of Anarchy," said that the film carries a metaphorical relevance to rapper's own much-publicized trials and tribulations
"I took meetings with Marshall's producing partners over the past seven years, looking for something to do together," he said. "I know he's very selective and doesn't do a lot. But he shared so much of his personal struggle in this raw and very honest album [Recovery], one that I connected with on a lot of levels. He is very interested in the boxing genre, and it seemed like an apt metaphor, because his own life has been a brawl."
Sutter also added that, "We are doing a metaphorical narrative of the second chapter of his life. He'll play a world-champion boxer who really hits a hard bottom and has to fight to win back his life for his young daughter. At its core, this is a retelling of his struggles over the last five years of his life, using the boxing analogy...I love that the title refers to Marshall being a lefty, which is to boxing what a white rapper is to Hip Hop; dangerous, unwanted and completely unorthodox. It's a much harder road for a southpaw than a right-handed boxer. Antoine Fuqua, who directed Training Day  is in final talks to direct Eminem in Southpaw,

Nick Cannon To Take Shots At Eminem On Upcoming Comedy Special

Rap Daily:  In one that can be filed as "Hip Hop Beefs That Just Won't Die," Mr. Carey says he's got a few more barbs to toss Em's way.
Nick Cannon is still fighting the good fight—apparently—and is still looking to defend his wife’s honor.

Cannon, who is married to Mariah Carey, revealed that he will discuss his beef with Eminem during his upcoming Showtime comedy special. “I say how I feel about it. I mean it’s definitely an interesting take— I’m not trying to stir up old news. That’s the thing that my stand-up special is actually about. It’s everybody getting to hear what I have to say first-hand instead of [hearing it] through interviews and hearsay.”

“You get to see how I feel about it,” he continued. “And I think that’s why a lot of people are gonna be intrigued to watch. I talk about everything from Eminem, to my marriage, to how I feel about other celebrities and all that stuff. So, it’s an interesting take. People have been buzzing about it. I’ve been on the road with it for the last year, and everywhere I go it’s a standing ovation. So, I think it should be well-received.”

Cannon also had some tough talk for Shady. “I mean, if I see dude, and it ain’t 10,000 body guards around, I feel like we need to have a real man-to-man. And if he’s a froggish type of dude then we both can leap. But I doubt that’s ever gon’ happen because he don’t move like that. It’s one of those things where it’s definitely entertainment, I get that, but then there’s a line you cross where you start to disrespect a man’s family in different situations.”

Em, Royce Announce 'Bad Meets Evil' EP Coming In June

Rap Daily:Fans of Eminem and Royce da 5'9 will rejoice this June, when the pair will drop a brand new untitled, "Bad Meets Evil" collaboration EP on Em's Shady Records imprint.
Bad Meets Evil was a originally a song featuring Royce on Em's hit 1999 album The Slim Shady EP.

Unfortunately, the project was never officially released.

Royce is now an artist in the group Slaughterhouse, which is also signed to the Shady label.
Almost 10 years after they recorded the project together, the pair have reunited and resurrected the project, which will hit stores on June 14th.
The untitled EP features production D12's Mr. Porter, Mobb Deep's Havoc, Bangladesh, DJ Khalil and others.
"I'm excited to see this project come to fruition considering the long lapse in time between when we worked before and now," Royce da 5'9 added. "We had a blast doing it and we just hope everyone enjoys it while we're working on the 'Monster' that will be the Slaughterhouse album. #TeamShady."

Rap stars Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Eminem and Dr. Dre are reportedly set to debut a new super collaboration entitled "Syllables" heading into 2011

Big Mike says Eminem featuring Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, and Jay-Z's "Syllables" will be leaking soon! He tweeted the following message on his Twitter page. "eminem feat dr dre 50 cent and jay z-syllables(prod by dr dre) guess we gotta start the new year off rite huh?," Mike tweeted Tuesday (December 27). DJ Big Mike is allegedly responsible for leaking Eminem's Crack A Bottle track. Instead of 3-Headed Monster... can you imagine the 4-Headed Monster!? (Hip Hop Stan)
Earlier this year, 50 publicly taunted Jay and accused him of subliminal dissing practices.
"It's the competitive nature of the art form," Fif explained about his relationship with Jay. "It's still there, he still competes too. He just does it so subliminal that people don't read it. To me, it's a softer way to do it. A safer way to do it because no one directly feels offended by it...Why not just say it? I don't feel the [disses]. You gotta at least let the [diss be noticeable.] A guy that's that subtle, how do you really take offense to those activities? You know, I get really disrespectful, I don't mind. And then it's like, we can go to the other space and it can really go down." (Power 105.1)
The two rap stars later patched things up at Jay-Z and Eminem's New York City Yankee Stadium concert in September.
"We got a chance to kick it for a minute," 50 said referencing Jay. "I know people were interested in what that conversation was like. But they can ask Jay-Z. I take people's actions as if it's genuinely how they feel. I can only use what I saw you do as if that's what you meant. I can't understand what your motivation was prior to that." (MTV)
While Dr. Dre is currently working on his Detox album, Em's Recovery has remained on the sales chart since last summer.
Grammy-winning rapper Eminem's Recovery dropped three slots to No. 22 with 68,500. Headed into his 27th week, Slim Shady's latest release stands at 3,214,300 sold copies. (SOHH Sales Wrap)
