Diddy Settles Lawsuits From 1999 New York Club Shooting

Rap Daily: The millionaire mogul  cut secret deals with the victims in his high profile 1999 club shooting.

Diddy has settled the civil action lawsuits stemming from a 1999 shooting at Club New York in New York City. According to the NY Post, the Bad Boy mogul quietly struck deals with three clubgoers shot by his accomplice,Jamal “Shyne” Barrow,” who ended up serving nine of his 10-year sentence. 

The terms of the settlement are unknown due to confidentiality agreements. But according to former club owner Michael Bergos, the highest paid victim was also the most seriously injured - Natania Reuben - who was cut a check for $1.8 million.

The other two victims were paid $500,000 and $50,000. Insurance companies for Shyne and the club ended up picking up some of the tab, while Diddy paid out of pocket due to his now-defunct insurance handlers.

The original incident occurred on December 27, 1999. Diddy and his then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez hit the club with Shyne and bodyguard Anthony “Wolf” Jones. The night took a turn for the worse when they engaged in a brawl with Matthew “Scar” Allen, prompting Shyne to pull out a gun and shoot into the crowd.

FAA Grounds Diddy's Helicopter Plans

Rap Daily: Sean "Diddy" Combs attempt to take a helicopter from his concert in New York on Friday (April 22nd), to an after party in New Jersey, was halted by the FAA. 

The New York Post reports that Combs was supposed to hit Club 4 Sixty 6 in West Orange after his show at the Hammerstein Ballroom, but use of the club's helipad wasn't cleared in time. 

Instead, Combs received a three-car police escort from the NYPD and police officers in New Jersey, as well. 

A source to the The Post that Diddy was driven "like a head of state" in his Bentley, with police in the front and three SUV's tailing the rap star/mogul. 

"This happened last-minute. I organized the police escort through my contacts," said John Mahdessian, the owner of Madam Paulette, a high-end couture dry-cleaning service. "There were three squad cars with the lights flashing. I went along also. We were at the club in New Jersey within 15 minutes."

According to the New York Post, police escorts are not usually offered to private citizens.

Sean "Diddy" Combs has run into trouble with the law in the past, but this time it was only for TV. The rapper-turned-actor was handcuffed while filming scenes for his guest appearance on  crime drama series "Hawaii Five-0" in Honolulu,  on Wednesday (March 2). The hip-hop mogul plays undercover cop Reggie Williams who heads to the tropical island to hunt down those responsible for a brutal crime against his family. , he trained for the role with a real Navy SEAL and participated in weapons training.

Diddy caused a meltdown in a Miami club after he started throwing money, reportedly totalling $1 million, into the crowd.

Fans and non-fans alike scrambled for the cash, in one of the rapper's more generous outpourings.

He was attending the birthday of rapper Rick Ross when the giveaway began, with pals Busta Rhymes and Pharrell Williams of the Neptunes also in attendance.

Crazy Woman Sues Diddy For $900 Billion; Accuses Mogul Of Knocking Down World Trade Center

A woman has filed a lawsuit against Sean "Diddy" Combs, accusing the Hip-Hop mogul of a variety of bizarre charges, including knocking down the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

RadarOnline.com posted the outrageous lawsuit, which was filed by a woman named Valerie Joyce Wilson Turks, who accuses Diddy, his longtime girlfriend Kim Porter and LAPD victim Rodney King of being responsible for the collapse of the World Trade Center.

"[Diddy] went through Kim Porter and Rodney King and knocked down the WTC and then they all came and knocked my children down," Turks claims in the lawsuit. "Set me up to be on disability and disabled my baby. he put my baby in a wheelchair," the lawsuit reads.

The lawsuit also accuses Diddy, who raked in $30 million dollars in 2010, of stealing the woman's "chip" at a Casino in Mississippi.

“Plus I won a lot of money at the casino in Mississippi and Sean P. Diddy Combs has my chip to my money. I heard he gave it to Gwen Allen to hold but she can not cash it in," Turks complained. "I want my chip please help me. it's well worth over 100 zillions of dollars, and my hospital keys. They put me and my baby in the hospital and broke my baby 2 legs and sexual assaulted my children and crushed us."

The woman seeks $900 billion dollars in child support and $100 billion dollars for loss of income.

A hearing date has been set for Monday, January 31st.

Detective named "Reggie Williams," who comes to Honolulu to get even with thugs who have wronged his family.

According to reports, Diddy is currently undergoing weapons training with a Navy S.E.A.L. in preparation for the role.
