Rap Daily: Compton and west coast Rapper Game has commented on his upcoming video for "Red Nation," which was banned from being from MTV and BET earlier this week. According to Game, the video will be released through VEVO this Thursday, in addition to the rapper's Twitter account and his official website, ComptonGame.com. "No love is lost for BET and MTV" Game said in a press release. "I know they have standards for all ages watching the networks. I didn't want to change the artistic integrity of the music video and with the amount of people watching videos online, I know that all my fans will still be able to find it." "Red Nation" is the first single from Game's highly anticipated studio release, R.E.D. Album, which is due in stores later this summer.
Rap Daily:Amid conflicting reports that he was denied entry and subsequently detained at Canadian borders while on his “Red Nation” tour, it appears that former 50 Cent protégé The Game is no longer under the authority of our neighbors to the north. The Documentary rapper graced the stages of the Honda Center in Anaheim, California alongside Young Money chief Lil Wayne during a stop on the “I Am Still Music” tour last night (April 22), thrilling fans into a wild frenzy.
Website Rap-Up uploaded a video of the performance of The Game’s track “My Life,” which features an auto-tuned Lil Wayne on the hook. The Game came on stage rocking his customary red bandana on his face, snatching it off to reveal himself with Weezy introducing the surprise guest to the audience. Both rappers wore red Converse shoes, and the self-proclaimed Chuck Taylor tossed his bandana into the crowd and cocked his hat back and launched into a powerful performance of the song.
A heavy user of the social media tool Twitter, The Game was curiously absent from the site as he was supposedly handling his issues with Canadian authorities. A statement from the promoters of the tour stressed that The Game was detained for reasons not linked to the rapper’s past or current criminal activity. “We as the Canadian promoters for the "Red Nation" tour featuring hip-hop artist The Game, completed all necessary work permits and paperwork to allow him entry into Canada,” shared The Substance Group in a statement.
The promoters went on to add, “The past criminal history of The Game was never addressed in conversation with Canadian officials and at no point was that the issue for his denied entry," read the statement. "Customs insisted the reason was strictly his current gang affiliations.” Whatever the case may be, Canadian officials are remaining tight-lipped about what they uncovered and why the Compton native was barred from entering the country.
West coast rapper games detainment in Canada was reportedly because of his ties with the bloods. According to reports,Games criminal activities restricted him from entering Canada.
A rep for Substance Entertainment Group -- the promotion company behind Game's tour in Canada -- tells TMZ, the tour promoter got a call from Canadian Customs while Game was on the plane on his way to Canada. We're told customs informed the promoter that Game would be denied entry "due to new information received that Game is affiliated with organized crime and is an active member of the Bloods street gang." The rep claims Game was blindsided by the last-minute red flag -- telling us, concert organizers had secured all permits and approval weeks ago to get Game into the country. (TMZ)
West Coast rapper Ras Kass has come clean and revealed what allegedly took place during a club fight against rap rival Game over New Year's Eve weekend in Los Angeles.
Apparently, the two spitters ran into each other in the bathroom prior to the scuffle. Says Ras Kass, "He was saying, 'Hey, what's up?' and kissing my a**. If he had a problem with me, he could have talked to me in the bathroom. Game's stories never add up. When you cross-examine him just ask him didn't ya'll see each other in the bathroom?" The tension escalated in the club when allegedly Game had an issue with a friend of Ras Kass. "I was telling my boy like, 'not in here, let's not do this here,'" he said. "I'm not going to be responsible for f*cking up a New Years Eve's party. I already told him I'm not trippin' off you in here. Then I said you lied the first time." Ras Kass was referring to the last time the rappers clashed back in September, which resulted in a few diss tracks. (XXL Mag)
After a few words, Ras Kass says Game threw a punch and ran. "He's stuck on stupid," Kass said. "He knows we have pictures. He punched and then ran behind a pool table. You don't call the police. There was no knockout. No one even got a bruise. He came around through the back and he called the police. He got me in the nose. Then he ran and I socked his friend. Game is about 6'4. I'm 5'6. Throw a punch and fight me. Don't throw a punch and run. He's a runner. He's a trackstar. " (XXL Mag)
"Gave Rass Kass a 2-piece nugget meal in da club da otha night. He went down n da 1st round like last time. Same soft chin, Different clothes," Game tweeted January 3.
"When will they learn. Game: goodlookin right hook, u dazed dat n!gga. Right hook: it wasnt nuttin blood, he soft ! Left hook: what about me ? Game: we aint need u." (Game's Twitter)
"Aint nobody hit that dude but me, he's crazy talking about 30 people," Game explained in an interview. "I never had beef and never met Ras Kass, unless it was a quick exchange saying hello. He talked about my son by name. You can say what you want about me, but what does my son got to do with it? I seen the n*gga in the club. I walked up to him in the club and it was my man's birthday, so I didn't want to mess up his party. When the lights came on, at the end I asked him about the freestyle. He said it wasn't nothing, but he started in on that 'it's whatever I'm Ras Kass and I punched him in the face before he could finish...Ras Kass' career is over, I ended it with that one punch last night."
