Rappers Show Love To Their Moms On Mother's Day

Rap Daily: A variety of rappers offered encouraging words for single mothers and mothers in general, in observance of today's Mother's Day holiday.

Rappers like Slim Thug,Ghostface Killah, E-40, Heavy D, Paul Wall, Jermaine Dupri, LL Cool J, Fat Joe, Waka, Flocka, Wale, Soulja Boy and others wished their own mothers, or mother's in general, a happy holiday.

"Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms, Grandma's, single dads and everyone 1 that does their part in raising a child," New York's Power 105.1's DJ Envy tweeted.

Hardcore gangster rapper Tony Yayo sent out a message to his female fans who are celebrating the day.

"Happy mothers day to all the mothers who go hard for they kids, happy mothers day," Tony Yayo tweeted.

"My Mom used to say that everyday was Mother's Day, I shouldn't wait for one day per year to tell her I love her and Happy Mothers Day," said Tek of veteran Hip-Hop group Smif-N-Wessun.

"If you love them, don't wait to tell them, you never know how much time is left," Tek continued. "Give them the dozen while they can still smell the roses."
